These editorial pictures are part of a series commissioned by Leading Business Magazine; All Things Business UK for an editorial piece about glazing specialist The Glazerite UK Group Ltd with sites throughout the east midlands, These images relate to the Wellingborough site only. When on location in a full working environment of a factory floor, working quickly and efficiently is critical, time is money as they say. With that in mind I chose to shoot most of these images with just available light and only a handful with off camera flash. I tend not to pose subjects in working situations as I don’t know the job. I let them do their job and shoot around them. I believe this gives a more authentic result. The finished images are very pleasing and serve the editorial aspects but also the promotional aspects going forward for the company. These images shown here in black and white but these images work equally well in colour. Every print based magazine or news paper requires different editorial pictures to suit there layout aesthetic by using an experienced professional photographer you images should be up to the required standard.
